Men's Tennis Completes Day 1 of Pacific Tiger Invite

By Stephanie Juncker FRESNO, Calif. --- The Fresno State men's tennis team completed day one of the Pacific Tiger Invitational on Friday and will continue play in Stockton on Saturday. The 'Dogs recorded two wins Friday from sophomores Reid DeLaubenfels and Sai Kartik Nakireddi. Reid won his opening match in the Orange singles in comeback fashion over Saint Mary's Thomas Hunt. After losing the first set 5-7, deLaubenfels fought back and only lost a single game in the next two sets, 6-1, 6-0. Kartik Nakireddi topped Saint Mary's Alec Wagner by only giving up three games and recording a 6-0, 6-3 victory. In doubles, Jeremy Quiroz and Kartik Nakireddi fell 8-5 to UC Davis' Bacharach and Horowitz. The 'Dogs are back in action tomorrow in the Pacific Tiger Invitational.
