Bulldog Bones

'Dogs Face Utah State & Arizona
The Fresno State men's tennis team heads to Tucson, Ariz., this weekend to face Mountain West opponent Utah State and Arizona at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center. The Bulldogs are on a two match winning streak and have won three of their last four matches played.

About the Competition
Utah State is coming off an almost two-week break after a 4-3 win on Feb. 28 against Idaho, the top-ranked team in the Mountain Region. Junior Matt Sweet has won six matches in a row during the last three team dual matches in singles and doubles combined, as he pairs with freshman Sebastian Schneider in doubles. Schneider is 5-2 in both singles and doubles during dual match play. The Aggies match against the Bulldogs will be the Utah State's first Mountain West match in school history. The Bulldogs look to continue their all-time series with the Aggies as they lead Utah State 8-0.

Arizona is in the middle of playing four matches in seven days, as the Wildcats lost to No. 29 Louisville, 7-0, on March 10, and will play three matches this weekend. Arizona and Utah State will square off on March 13 before each team faces the Bulldogs. The Wildcats are led No. 18-ranked singles player in the Southwest Region. Arizona leads the Bulldogs 7-2 all-time.

Neutral Matches
The Bulldogs look to get their first conference win over Utah State Aggies this Friday, March 14. The match will be played on neutral territory on Arizona. The 'Dogs are 2-0 in neutral matches this season with wins over Cal Poly and Idaho.

Papic Leading the Bulldogs
Sophomore Nikolas Papic is 7-3 in singles dual play while currently on a four-match win streak. Papic and his doubles partner, freshman Ethan Lopez are 5-1 at No. 3 and have won their last three straight matches.
