Men's Tennis Set For ITA Northwest Regional

    FRESNO, Calif. --- The Fresno State men's tennis team is set to compete in the ITA Northwest Regional beginning Friday at Saint Mary's College in Moraga, Calif.

    The tournament winner will automatically qualify for the ITA National Indoor Championships held in Flushing Meadows, NY from Nov. 8-11.

    The Bulldogs will compete in the first and second rounds of singles on Friday and first round of doubles on Saturday. The singles draw consists of 128 players, while the doubles draw consists of 64 doubles teams.

    Singles

    FS Sai Kartik Nakireddi vs. WA Max Manthou- Friday, 8:30 a.m.

    FS Jeremy Quiroz vs. CAL Wyatt Houghton - Friday, 12 p.m.

    FS Sam MacNeil vs. WA Viktor Farkas- Friday, 1:45 p.m.

    FS Reid DeLaubenfels - First round BYE; will face winner of GON Levin Guillermo and SM James Markiewicz in second round- Friday, 3:15 p.m.

    Doubles

    FS MacNeil/deLaubelfels vs. WA Lunardi/Raman- Saturday, 8:30 a.m.

    FS Kartik Nakireddi/Quiroz vs. OR Chin/Schaeffer- Saturday, 9:45 a.m.
