FRESNO, Calif. ---The Fresno State men's tennis team will close out its fall season at the Pacific Tiger Invitational this weekend at the Hal Nelson Tennis Courts in Stockton, Calif.

"This is our last tournament of the fall season and we're looking for a strong finish," said Fresno State head coach Evan Austin. "We're really going to emphasize our doubles play this weekend and want to get a look at some different teams."

Competing for Fresno State in its fifth and final tournament will be Sam MacNeil, Adriaan DuToit, John Darmstaedter and Sai Kartik Nakireddi.

"This event is another opportunity for us to set the tone for how we want to compete in the dual match season," added Austin.

Kartick and MacNeil will be competing together in doubles this weekend. The two have paired to win 5-of-8 matches in two tournaments this fall. DuToit and Darmstaedter will also be representing Fresno State in doubles play. Both Bulldog doubles teams have a first round bye and will play their first match of the tournament at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Tournament play begins Friday morning and will go through Sunday. Select matches on Saturday and Sunday will be available at radiotennis.com. To view the full draw and tournament schedule click here.
