    Last updated on May 1, 2013 Danyelle Snelgro enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Fresno State women's basketball team.

    Snelgro, who coaches the guards, guided three Bulldogs to All-Conference honors in her first season at Fresno State. Point guard Taylor Thompson was a third-team All-Mountain West selection after finishing third in the conference with 4.4 assists per game and she averaged 10.3 points.

    Guard Ki-Ki Moore drew a number of accolades. She was named a Mid-Major First-Team All-American by Fullcourt.com, selected to the All-Mountain West first-team and named the MW Defensive Player of the Year. Moore ranked third in the MW in scoring at 17.6 points per game while also setting new school and MW single-season records with 103 steals.

    Finally, Rosie Moult was a second-team All-Conference selection in 2012-13 after ranking 13th nationally with 3.04 made 3-pointers per game.

    Fresno State went 24-9 overall in Snelgro's first season and reached the NCAA Tournament after winning the 2013 Reese's Mountain West Basketball Championship.

    Prior to coming to Fresno State, Snelgro spent two seasons (2011-12) as an assistant at Utah State under Raegan Pebley. The Aggies made their first two WNIT appearances in school history during Snelgro's tenure and in her final season, won a program record 21 games.

    Snelgro was a standout point guard under Pebley at Utah State from 2005-09. In 2009, Snelgro became the first Utah State women's basketball player to earn first-team All-WAC honors. She was also named to the WAC All-Defensive team in 2009. Snelgro led the Aggies in scoring (14.2 ppg), assists (128) and steals (73) as a senior.

    She is one of only six Aggies to reach the 1,000-point milestone and now stands at fifth all-time on the Aggie list with 1,043 career points. She is also USU's all-time steals leader with 216.

    Snelgro graduated from Utah State in 2009 with her bachelor's degree in inter-disciplinary studies with an emphasis in coach, psychology, health and physical education.

    In 2010, Snelgro played professionally in Jyvalsklya, Finland averaging 14.7 points, 3.2 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 2.8 steals.
