Up Close: Had a breakout year, establishing herself as one of the top post players in the WAC ... very athletic forward who can score from the perimeter and down low ... possesses tremendous touch around the hoop ... excellent ballhandler who can run the point if needed ... combined the ability to score and rebound as well as any other player in the conference ... is diverse enough to play all five positions.

2000-01 Season: A second-team All-WAC selection ... won the conference rebounding crown with a 9.6 average, becoming the fifth consecutive Bulldog to do so ... played in all 28 games, starting 25 ... has started 25 consecutive games, the longest streak on the team ... posted double-doubles in 12 contests, most in the WAC ... had double-doubles in nine of 16 WAC games ... had a .532 field goal percentage, best in the WAC ... posted astounding numbers against conference opponents, averaging 15.8 points and 10.9 rebounds ... her 268 rebounds this year ranks third on Fresno State’s single-season list ... needs only 19 rebounds to tie Janee Young for the all-time single season mark ... her 9.6 rebounds average is fourth in program history ... her 174 rebounds in WAC games was the second highest total in conference history ... has a career rebounds average of 7.7, third-best on Fresno State's career list ... one of only three Bulldogs to have played in each game the past two seasons ... was WAC player of the week Jan. 8 after posting then-career-highs with 22 points and 15 rebounds in a victory over UTEP ... had a monster game at San Jose State, scoring 18 points and grabbing 17 rebounds ... scored in double figures in 22 of Fresno State’s 28 contests ... was the only player in the conference to average a double-double in WAC games.

1999-00 Season: Second on the team in rebounds with a 6.0 average ... played in all 29 games and started 16 ... made 13 consecutive starts at one point of the season ... took over for Channan High at the power forward spot when she went down with an injury before the fifth game of the season ... scored a then-career-high 15 points in the victory over Boston University on Nov. 21 ... pulled down 13 rebounds against Sacramento State ... scored in double figures five times ... pulled down double-doubles against Bradley on Dec. 20 and TCU on Jan. 20.

At Harvard-Westlake High School: Racked up many awards her senior year, including Los Angeles Times Player of the Year, USA Today first-team All-American and first-team All-State … lettered all four years in basketball and her junior year in track and field … was the Mission League MVP her senior year and first-team All-League her sophomore and junior years … voted her team’s MVP her sophomore, junior and senior seasons.

Personal: Born Feb. 14, 1981 … parents names are Carol and Clement Udeze … has two brothers, Arinze (22) and Ikemefuna (19), and two sisters, Ifeyinwa (27) and Ije-Enu (24) … enjoys writing letters and listening to music in her spare time ... teammates call her "O" … name is pronounced "oh-MEL-uh-guh oo-DEZ-uh."
