BOISE, Idaho- - Jaleesa Ross became the Fresno State all-time leader for 3-pointers made and the Fresno State women's basketball team cruised to a 95-72 road win at Boise State on Saturday evening. The Bulldogs have now tied the school record for most wins in a season with 24 as they are 24-5 and 15-0 in WAC. The Bulldogs have won 16 straight games.

"We had great focus, execution and played with great speed," Fresno State coach Adrian Wiggins said. "The team had a great desire to do well tonight and it showed up in the final results."

Emma Andrews led four Bulldogs in double figures as she had a game-high 21 points on 8-of-9 shooting from the field. She also was a perfect 5-for-5 from the 3-point line. Joh-Teena Filipe had 14 points, Ross 13 and Hayley Munro 11 points.

"Each individual player had great spurts tonight," Wiggins said. "It started with our leadership. Our seniors came ready to play. Right from the jump ball they were physical and fast and it trickled down to the rest of the players. We had a great night as a team."

Ross set the school record for most 3-pointers made in a career at the 14:32 mark of the game on a three that gave Fresno State a 64-40 lead. Ross hit three in the game and now has 274 for her career.

"It's a relief for one," Wiggins said on Ross setting the record. "She doesn't have to worry about it anymore but at the same time I don't think she spends a lot of time worrying about it. It is a great individual honor and she has many more records she can set, hopefully this is just one of them."

Fresno State shot 48.5 percent from the field and Boise State shot 41.8 percent. The Bulldogs out rebounded the Broncos 39-37 with Filipe grabbing a team-best eight in only 15 minutes of play. Taja Edwards had seven rebounds off the bench. The Bulldog defense forced 22 Bronco turnovers.

"It was just a great team effort tonight," Wiggins said. "The assistants had a great plan tonight and the players believed in it, came out and played really hard and overall it was a good night for the program."
