Fresno State reached the championship game by defeating No. 3 seed Wyoming 63-62 in the semifinals on Friday. Bulldog junior guard Ki-Ki Moore hit a bucket with 2.5 seconds remaining to win it for Fresno State.

The Bulldogs are going for their fifth conference tournament championship in the last six seasons. Fresno State has also reached the NCAA Tournament five years in a row.

Fresno State and San Diego State split the two games in the regular season - each team winning on the road. The Bulldogs won 80-72 at SDSU in the first conference game of the season back on Jan. 9 in San Diego.

Since then, the Aztecs have won 17-straight games, including a pair of 18-point wins in the first two rounds of the tournament. SDSU defeated Fresno State 74-49 on Feb. 9 in Fresno.

Both the Bulldogs and Aztecs had big leads in their wins. Fresno State led SDSU by as many as 20 five minutes into the second half of its win in Viejas Arena. Then San Diego State led by as many as 30 in their win over the 'Dogs in Fresno.

Fresno State shot 44 percent and hit nine three's in its win over SDSU. In the loss, the Bulldogs shot 32 percent, had 13 turnovers and allowed the Aztecs to shoot 51.7 percent.
