FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State women's basketball head coach Raegan Pebley and her newly hired staff will host the Bulldog Parent and Pup Women's Hoops Clinic on Saturday, May 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the North Gym.
"This clinic is one of my all-time favorite experiences," Pebley said. "It is so rewarding watching parents connect with their children in this unique setting. You and your children will leave the clinic with memories. As a parent myself, I am often seeking ways to create memories without having to spend a lot of money."
Registration for the clinic becomes the morning of May 19 at 8 a.m. The clinic is for both parent and child to actively participate. There will be basketball drills and the cost of the clinic is $25, which also includes a membership to the Jr. Bulldogs Club.
Jr. Bulldog membership includes, free admission to the ticketed sports of volleyball, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and softball (limited supply each game), free admission to select home football games with one paid adult, run the bases after Saturday softball games and Sunday baseball games, form the tunnel at volleyball, men's basketball and women's home basketball games, free Clinics, Socials, and Autograph Sessions for members only, Bulldog Shop- Receive 20% off regular price merchandise, a monthly newsletter with important events and updates and much more.
A question & answer panel for parents will follow the clinic. The panel includes members of the women's basketball team, coach Pebley and sport psychologist Dr. Wade Gilbert.
"I am so grateful that Dr. Wade Gilbert has agreed to participate in this event," Pebley said. "How valuable to have someone of his experience to field questions from parents on how we can help navigate our children through their athletic experiences and help them with their confidence."
