CAIRNS, Australia -- The Fresno State women's basketball team dominated in the second half as the Bulldogs earned a convincing 70-57 win over the Cairns Dolphins on Monday night at Bendigo Bank Basketball Stadium.
The win was the second in as many days for Fresno State, who earned a hard-fought 63-62 win over the Norths Bears on Sunday afternoon in Sydney.
After a close first-half, the Bulldogs outscored the Dolphins by 14 in the second half, including a 13-point advantage in the third quarter.
Fresno State junior Moriah Faulk posted a team-high 16 points and eight rebounds. Senior Alex Furr added eight points with a pair of 3-pointers. Freshman Bego Faz Davalos had seven points and four rebounds.
Fresno State will visit the Great Outer Barrier Reef on Tuesday to close out its 11-day Australian preseason tour before returning to Fresno on Wednesday.
