Bailey Amundsen has been named the GoBulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for the week of November 24. Amundsen was also named Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week. Amundsen, a senior from Fresno, Calif. (Reedley JC), helped lead Fresno State to a 2-0 record last week after averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds in a 71-54 home win over UC Santa Barbara and a 74-68 road win over Sacramento State.
The senior finished 8-for-18 from beyond the arc (44 percent) and 12-of-
26 overall from the floor (46 percent). In the win over UCSB, she had a career-high 26 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field and helped the Bulldogs set a school and WAC record for most three-pointers in a game at 16 by going 6-for-9 from beyond the arc in the victory. She added 12 points and nine rebounds in the win against Sacramento State.
