FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's basketball team hits the road for a tough non-conference match up against Mountain West Conference foe TCU. The game can be heard live on 790 ESPN Radio, the Deuce beginning at 4:30 p.m. Fans can also watch the game live by logging onto www.gofrogs.com.

Wednesday is the ninth meeting between the two schools. The series is currently tied at 4-4, with the Lady Frogs winning the last three meetings. The most recent game was a 74-67 loss in Fresno in 2001. The Bulldogs last win over TCU was an 83-75 win in Fresno in 2000.

TCU is led by the play of Adrianne Ross who is averaging 11.8 points a game. Last year Ross was named Co-Mountain West Conference Player of the Year as she led the league in scoring at 17.3 points a game. She is a Preseason All-Conference selection this year.

Helen Roden is averaging 10.5 points while Lorie Butler-Rayford is bringing down a team-best nine rebounds.

"TCU is a solid team that presents a lot of challenges for us," Fresno State coach Adrian Wiggins said. "They have the Mountain West Conference Player of the Year in Ross who is a very versatile guard. This is another game that will allow us to continue to improve as a team and prepare us for conference play."

Fresno State is searching for its first win of the season. The Bulldogs first win will also give Wiggins his 50th victory as a Fresno State head coach. Tierre Wilson leads the Dogs in scoring at 17.3 points a contest. Bailey Amundsen is second in scoring at 10 points a game. Erica Henry leads the Bulldogs in rebounding at 6.3 a game.

Following Wednesday's game, the Bulldogs return home to host the University of Utah at 1 p.m. on Saturday December 1. The game can be heard live on 1430 ESPN Radio and it can also be seen on Comcast cable channel 14.
