Jaleesa Ross has been named the GoBulldogs.com Athlete of the Week for her performances last week at the SMU Hoops For The Cure Tournament. Ross averaged 27 points and nine rebounds in two games last week where the Bulldogs went 1-1. Ross shot 45 percent from the field and 43 percent from the 3-point line as she hit 12 3-pointers. Ross had a career-high 33 points against Boston College and she tied her career-high in rebounds with 11 against the ACC school. Ross had 21 points in the win against Hampton on Saturday and she was named to the SMU Hoops For The Cure All-Tournament team.
