The Fresno State Equestrian team is having an excellent season and ranked No. 9 in the nation.

Fresno State: (2009-10) A highly respected senior captain who led the reining show team for four years...competed in 11 matches earning seven wins and two MVP honors against University Tennessee Martin and Sacred Heart University...opened the season with her highest score of a 75 against New Mexico State...had the highest average competition score for the reining team...competed in her fourth Varsity Equestrian National Championship and earned her fourth varsity letter for the sport. (2008-2009) Went 10-5 overall ... earned three MVP honors against Tennessee-Martin, Miami (Ohio) and Baylor ... was named a team captain by head coach Becky Malmo for the 2009-2010 season ... a team captain and the top reining rider on the Bulldog squad ... has great experience on the collegiate circuit and expected to be one of the top riders in the nation this season ... won four matches last season and had a season-high score of 75.5 against TCU ... earned WAC scholar athlete award for academic excellence.

Personal: Born March 1, 1988 in Newport Beach, Calif. ... parents are Teri and Kevin Blackledge ... has one younger sister, Jillian ... hobbies include photography, music, playing with her two dogs and the beach ... favorite athlete is Andrea Fapanni because he is constantly winning and trying his hardest while still being humble ... most admires Brenda Brown for getting through hard times without giving up ... chose to attend Fresno State because the whole community supports the school and there is a lot of school spirit and a very welcoming atmosphere.
