A total of 71 Fresno State student-athletes were honored as part of a league-record 623 Mountain West scholar athletes.
The Fresno State equestrian Western team qualified for the NCEA National Championships in Waco, Texas from April 18-20, 2013.
The NCEA announced the Academic Award winners for the 2012 spring and fall semesters.

2012-13 (Junior): Competed in all 12 Equitation over Fences events in her junior season ... earned two wins, one against UTM and one against New Mexico State ... maintained an average season score of 72 over Fences ... competed in seven Equitation on the Flat events ... recorded a season-high score of 82 against TCU on the Flat ... maintained an average score of 70 on the flat ... earned her third varsity letter ... named to the NCEA Academic All-American First Team ... received the Most Determined Award voted on by the coaches ... named Horse Care committee member for the 2013-14 season.
2011-12 (Sophomore): Competed in 14 meets in her sophomore season ... won nine events in Equitation over Fences and picked up an MVP honor against Baylor ... maintained average score of 75 ... earned a season-high score of 84 against Stanford ...competed in her first Annual Collegiate Equitation Challenge at the WEF finishing in the Top 5 ... competed at the NCEA National Championships and received her second varsity letter.
2010-11 (Freshman): A strong competitor her Freshman year ... competed in nine events in Equitation over Fences earning six wins ... named MVP against Texas A&M and University of South Carolina (USC) ... earned a high score of 80 against USC ... competed in her first Varsity Equestrian National Championships (VENC) and recorded a win over University of Tennessee-Martin... received her first varsity letter... won the 2011 Harold Haak Most Memorable Moment Award ... was voted Rookie of the Year by her teammates.
