The Fresno State Equestrian team is having an excellent season and ranked No. 9 in the nation.

Fresno State: (2008-2009) Went 8-7 overall ... earned three MVP honors throughout the season against Auburn, Delaware State and Miami (Ohio) ... was named a captain by head coach Becky Malmo for the 2009-2010 season. (2007-2008) A premier performer on a national level who is expected to be one of the top Equitation over Fences riders in the nation ... enters her third year in the program and is coming off her best season ... won two MVP awards, against Auburn and New Mexico State, toward the end of last season ... scored a season-high 81 vs. the Aggies ... earned a score of 72 or higher in five meets ... helped lead the `Dogs to the 2008 Varsity Equestrian National Championship meet.

Personal: Born November 11, 1987 in Fresno, Calif. ... parents are Terri and Jay Jory ... has one older brother, Matt, and one younger brother, Taylor ... hobbies include working at Starbucks, playing with her cats and dog, riding her horse and watching Friends ... her biggest athletic thrill was competing in the mini prix on Duncan ... most admires her dad because he is a great man and lives her life every day for him
