The Fresno State equestrian team had a wonderful day to celebrate its season accomplishments, its seniors and the unveiling of the new scoreboard.


'Dogs Wrap Up Home Events

The Fresno State equestrian team hosted its final home competition of the 2011-12 season Saturday with a Red and Blue team scrimmage.


'Dogs Pick Up Five MVPs On Day One

On Day one of Best in the West Fresno State defeated TCU and finished tied with UTM after two events.


'Dogs Show Well At Scrimmage

The Fresno State equestrian team kicked off the 2012 season with a Red vs. Blue team scrimmage at the Student Horse Center where sophomore Hillary West earned two MVP honors.

Fresno State:

2011-12 (Senior): Performed multiple demonstration rides at all home competitions.

2010-11 (Junior): Competed against Stanford University.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Returning team member with experience in Equitation on the Flat ... Competed against U.C. Davis.

2008-09 (Freshman): First year team member who spent the season gaining experience and knowledge in the format.

High School: One of the top performers in Northern California ... a two-time reserve champion at the Sacramento Area Hunters and Jumpers Association and was the reserve champion at the Pheasant Grove Harvest Classic ... an excellent high school athlete who played soccer and was a swimmer at Sierra High School ... was selected the Manteca Area Soccer League MVP ... graduated with honors in 2008.
