The Fresno State equestrian Western team qualified for the NCEA National Championships in Waco, Texas from April 18-20, 2013.
The NCEA announced the Academic Award winners for the 2012 spring and fall semesters.
The Fresno State equestrian team defeated New Mexico State 9-7, Saturday afternoon.
The Fresno State equestrian team tied the University of Tennessee Martin 8-8, Friday afternoon.
These are the final two regular season competition for the Fresno State equestrian team.

Fresno State: (2012-13) Competed in all 11 Horsemanship events and all 11 Reining events ... picked up six wins in Horsemanship against Texas A&M, Georgia, TCU, New Mexico State, South Dakota State and UTM ... recorded a career best score of 75.5 against Georgia ... maintained an impressive season average score of 72 in Horsemanship ... earned four wins in Reining against Auburn, Oklahoma State, and New Mexico State twice ... picked up a MOP honor against New Mexico State with her score of 74.5 ... earned her second varsity letter ... served as the 2012-13 Horse Care committee member ... received the Horseman of the Year Award selected by the coaches ... was named the Western Captain for the 2013-14 season.
2011-12 (Freshman): Competed in six Horsemanship events ... earned a win against Miami of Ohio with a 71.5 and earned an MVP honor against South Dakota State University ... competed in two Reining events recording a high score of 69 ... earned her first varsity letter.
Las Lomas HS: Veteran competitor at Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show for 13 years ... earned six Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show Championships in 2011 ... including pure bread and half Arabian horsemanship (14-17), Arabian trail horse (14-17), HA-AA reining seat (14-17), Arabian hunter pleasure (14-17), and Reserve Champion in HA-A trail horse ... Youth Director at the Region 3 Arabian Horse Association.
