'Dogs Show Well At Scrimmage

The Fresno State equestrian team kicked off the 2012 season with a Red vs. Blue team scrimmage at the Student Horse Center where sophomore Hillary West earned two MVP honors.

No. 10 Bulldogs Win Final Fall Event

The Fresno State Equestrian team wrapped up its 2011-12 fall season with a home win against Stanford.

Fresno State: (2010-11) Competed in the Red and Blue Scrimmage in Equitation on the Flat her first year as a Bulldog.

High School: Home schooled during junior and senior year so she could ride and show more ... honored with a presidential award for academic excellence ... took second place at the 2004 NorCal Pony Equitation Finals ... placed Top 5 at the 2005 Onondarka Medal Finals on a catch ride... took fourth place at the 2007 NorCal three feet Equitation Finals ... traveled to Spruce Meadows as a part of the 2009 NorCal Prix des Nation team.

Personal:Born March 20, 1992 in Thousand Oaks, Calif. ... parents are Laura and Tim Postel ... has a younger brother, Jonathan and a younger sister, Abby ... hobbies include shopping, music, sailing, hanging out with friends, and going to the beach ... her biggest athletic thrill was placing top five on a catch ride at the Onodarka Finals ... most admires her mom because she is always there for her ... chose to attend Fresno State because she wanted to attend a school close to home where she could ride horses.
