The Fresno State equestrian team had a strong showing in the arena on the first day of the 2012 NCEA National Championships.
The Fresno State equestrian team hosted its final home competition of the 2011-12 season Saturday with a Red and Blue team scrimmage.
The Fresno State equestrian team kicked off the 2012 season with a Red vs. Blue team scrimmage at the Student Horse Center where sophomore Hillary West earned two MVP honors.
The Fresno State Equestrian team wrapped up its 2011-12 fall season with a home win against Stanford.

2012-13 (RS Senior): Redshirted this season ... was the 2012-13 Horse Care committee member ... received the Work Horse Award voted on by her teammates ... was selected the English Team Captain for the 2013-14 season by her teammates.
2011-12 (Junior): Competed in three events in Equitation over Fences earning two wins against South Dakota State and Stanford ... recorded a season-high score of 73 against South Dakota State ... competed at the NCEA National Championships and was the only Bulldog in Equitation over Fences to earn her point with a score of 139.
2010-11 (Sophomore): Competed in 11 events in Equitation over Fences earning five wins against Delaware, SMU, TCU, USC, and University of Tennessee-Martin ... recorded a season-high score of 81 against Delaware ... competed at the 2011 Varsity Equestrian National Championships (VENC) ... earned her second varsity letter.
2009-10 (Freshman): Competed in eight events in Equitation over Fences earning four wins against Texas A&M, TCU, Kansas State, and UC Davis ... earned MVP honors against UC Davis ... maintained an average competition score of 71 ... competed in her first VENC and earned her first varsity letter.
Personal: Born August 8, 1991 in Sacramento, Calif. ... mother is Debbie Stone ... has one younger sister, Haley... hobbies include taking photos of horses and their riders ... holds multiple FFA degrees ... is a Jr. Board member of the Sacramento Area Hunter Jumper Association ... her biggest athletic thrill was being able to travel to England as a freshman in high school to help look for horses ... most admires her mother because she is always there for her and is a strong person ... chose to attend Fresno State because of the Agricultural school and the Equestrian team.
