FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Bulldogs faced the TCU Horned Frogs Friday afternoon in Fort Worth, Texas for an equestrian match up. Despite a close raw score total, the 'Dogs fell to TCU 14-6.

On the Flat, Kimberly HewsonBudnik won her point with her season-high score of 93 defeating her opponent's score of 88. Also winning her point on the Flat was Macy Wilson with an 83. The Bulldogs earned two points in this event to the Horned Frogs three.

HewsonBudnik won her second point of the day in Equitation over Fences. She scored a 71 defeating her opponent by three points. Belle Calkin also won her point over Fences scoring a 59, defeating her opponent by nine points. The 'Dogs fell 2-3 in this English event.

In Horsemanship, Fresno State's Kirsten McKillop won her point with a 71 defeating her opponent's 67.5 Overall the Horsemanship riders had some very impressive scores, the highest coming from Lauren Crivelli with a 75.5. The Bulldogs had a raw score total of 360 only three behind TCUs 363.

In Reining, Ciara Kozlowski was the lone Bulldog to win her point. She scored a 72.5 defeating her opponent's 71.5 and was also named the Most Outstanding Player for that event. Despite a really close raw score total of 356.5 to TCUs 360, Fresno State fell 4-1 in this event.

The Bulldogs will travel to Stillwater, Okla. tonight and will compete against the Oklahoma State Cowgirls Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m.
