Equestrian Prepares To Host English And Western Show Saturday
Feb. 19, 2004 FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State will host an English and Western show Saturday at the Animal Science Pavilion from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Bulldogs will compete against Cal Poly, College of the Sequoias, Nevada, Sierra Nevada College, Stanford and UC Davis. Saturday's show will be filmed by Comcast Cable (channel 14) and HorseTV, marking HorseTV's first taping of a Fresno State equestrian show. The monthly programs will feature the Bulldogs' competition highlights, in-depth features on team members, interviews with coaches and staff and updates on activities and events. HorseTV has been broadcasting equestrian and horse-oriented programming nationwide for more than three years and currently provides 20+ hours per week to almost 100 television stations, including channel 32 in Fresno, Calif. It is also available on satellite and cable in various cities via local station subscription option, and on the Internet through the America One Television webcast on JumpTV.com. The show will air March 31 on HorseTV and will be archived on the Fresno State equestrian homepage, www.gobulldogs.com/equestrian, for those who do not subscribe to HorseTV but wish to view the footage.
Hospitality seating is available for reserve at $10 per seat or $75 for eight seats. The fee includes breakfast, lunch and a snack. A table will be provided for media personnel. Call (559) 278-8385 to reserve hospitality seats. Payment is due on the day of competition.
