FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State equestrian program is excited to unveil their brand new electronic scoreboard this Saturday, April 28 at the Fresno State Student Horse Center.

This is the first scoreboard at an NCEA (National Collegiate Equestrian Association) Equestrian venue and for the Fresno State Equestrian Team. The scoreboard is an opportunity for the sport of equestrian to be more fan-friendly. This scoreboard will greatly enhance the home events, allowing fans and student-athletes to follow each rider while they compete.

This project has been spearheaded by the Saddle Club, the equestrian team booster club, who, started this year with just over half of the funds needed to complete this project and were able to raise the remaining funds this year. The money for this project was raised exclusively through private funds.

The electronic scoreboard is a 5' x 12' Daktronics LED and it will be centered on the south side of the two competition arenas, facing the stands, at the Student Horse Center. This unveiling is a free event open to the public.
