    FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State head coach Becky Malmo and her 2007-08 Equestrian team will be a featured on Wednesday morning's KMPH Great Day Show.

    The show, a popular live news and entertainment program, airs between 5-10 a.m. on KMPH Fox 26. Reporter Brian Loftus will broadcast live from the Fresno State Student Horse Center during the show, talking with student-athletes and coaches.

    The Bulldog Equestrian program continues to be one of the best in the nation. Last spring, the Bulldog English team finished seventh at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships in Waco, Texas. The Fresno State English and Western teams were both ranked in the Top 12 in the nation.

    Malmo enters her fourth season as the head coach of the program, which has approximately 70 squad members this season. The team opens the season Oct 6 at New Mexico State and hosts its only fall event of the year on Saturday, Oct. 27, against SMU.

    In addition, the KSEE Bulldog Insider Show has a feature on the program on this Sunday's show. Several standouts from this year's team were interviewed for that feature, including English riders Lisa Wells and Kirsten Sohns, and Western performers Rebecca Flood and Marybeth Brown.

    The Bulldog Insider is live on KSEE immediately after the NBC Sunday Night NFL game.
