FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State Equestrian team will host an intersquad scrimmage this Saturday, Oct. 27 at noon. The scrimmage will be held at the Fresno State Student Horse center located on the corner of Barstow and Woodrow.

Collins Daye, the new head equestrian coach hired in August 2012, will be able to view her riders in a more competitive format and see where the team is at before actual competition starts on Nov. 8, 2012 at Southern Methodist University.

"I think our team is looking pretty good, and I am excited to see them compete at the scrimmage this weekend," said Daye.

The team will be separated into two teams, Red vs. Blue, and will compete in all four events: Equitation on the Flat, Equitation over Fences, Horsemanship and Reining.
