The Fresno State women's golf team swings into its spring season on Feb. 16-17 at the Peg Barnard Invitational.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Competed in five tournaments ... averaged 79.13 strokes over 15 rounds ... low round of 75 at Rose City Collegiate and Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate ... recorded two top 20 finishes ... best finish was a tie for 13th at the Rose City Collegiate (75-75-79--229) ... placed in a tie for 19th at the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate (77-75-80--232) ... fifth on the team with 23 birdies ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.
2010-11 (Freshman): Competed in seven tournaments ... low round of 73 came in first round of collegiate career at Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic and Lamkin Grip Invitational ... best finish was tied for 16th at Lamkin Grip Invitational (82-73--155, +9) ... led the team in Par 5 Scoring with a 5.09 average ... third on the team with 39 birdies ... recorded seven birdies during the Ptarmigan/Ram Fall Classic ... earned Academic All-WAC.
Lemoore HS: Claimed the 2009 CIF Central Section Championship ... qualified for the CIF Southern California Championship ... won the 2008 & 2009 West Yosemite League Championship ... named team MVP in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Personal: Born May 27, 1992 in Lemoore, Calif. ... parents are Michael and Kristine Billingsley ... has an older sister, Sarah, and two younger brothers, Blake and Logan ... hobbies include snowboarding and wakeboarding ... a lifetime California Scholarship Federation (CSF) member and a member of Future Farmers of America (FFA) ... lists Lorena Ochoa as her favorite athlete because she is a hard worker and always has a positive attitude ... her biggest athletic thrill was going to regionals her senior year of high school ... most admires her parents, grandparents and friends at Lemoore Golf Course for supporting her in everything she does ... chose to attend Fresno State because she loved the team, coach and athletic and academic program.
Coach's Comments: Hillary had a record setting putting average of 28 putts per round last Spring. She can also really move the golf ball. We have seen her pull off some impressive shots. She has an incredible amount of talent and it's all coming together for her now. She will work hard and keep moving in the right direction. This could be her break out year on the course.
