The Fresno State women's golf team heads to the desert again to compete in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Oct. 21-23.

2011-12 (Sophomore): Competed in eight tournaments ... averaged 80.26 strokes over 23 rounds ... posted a low round of 73 at the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate ... recorded three top 30 finishes ... best finish was a tie for 17th at the Cowgirl Dessert Intercollegiate (81-73-77--231) ... placed in a tie for 28th at the Rose City Collegiate (75-82-79--236) ... carded 16 birdies ... earned Academic All-WAC honors.
2010-11 (RS Freshman): Competed in 10 out of 11 tournaments ... best finish was a tie for fourth at the CU Heather Farr Memorial with rounds of 77-77-71 ... averaged 79.19 strokes per round ... posted a low round of 71 at the CU Heather Farr Memorial ... named the team's Bulldog Award ... earned Academic All-WAC.
2009-10 (Freshman): Redshirted
East Union HS: Lettered four years in golf ... 2008 team captain and team MVP ... three-time Valley Oak Conference league champions ...2008 First Team All Combine-West ... overall winner at the Sacramento County Junior Championships ... competed in 13 Junior Golf tournaments and had nine top 5 finishes.
Personal: Born May 27, 1991, in Tracy, Calif. ... parents are Debbie and Jay Clark ... has an older brother, Jason ... enjoys outdoor activities, watching movies and hanging out with friends and family ... biggest athletic thrill was making it to the Nor Cal championships ... her favorite athlete is Lance Armstrong ... admires parents and grandparents because they have attended every golf tournament ... chose to attend Fresno State because she really liked the coach and the team.
Coach's Comments: We have seen Krysta put up some impressive numbers. She has been motivated to improve her mental game and has really put in the time and energy it requires to see positive results. Krysta has a beautiful golf game and works hard on the course but also knows how to keep things fun for the team when the time is right. She helps keep us balanced!
