2012-13 (Senior): Competed in all 10 tournaments ... recorded a 77.52 scoring average ... posted a low round 71 at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic (71-75-78--224) ... recorded two top 25 finishes ... best finish was a tie for 17th at the Peg Bernard Invitational (74-75--149) ... named to the 2013 Spring Academic All-Mountain West team ... awarded team's Top Dog award.

2011-12 (Junior): Competed in nine tournaments ... averaged 77.77 strokes over 26 rounds ... shot a low round 71 at both the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown and WAC Championships ... posted two round of par or better ... recorded five top 30 finishes, two of which were top 15 ... best finish was a tie for seventh at the Fresno State Lexus Classic (75-73-78--226) ... tied for 11th at the WAC Championship (81-71-74--226) ... fourth on the team with 42 birdies ... named co-captain ... earned Academic All-WAC honors ... won team's Bulldog Award.

2010-11 (Sophomore): Competed in ten out of the 11 tournaments ... recorded a season-best eighth place finish at the WAC Championship (75-78-71--224) ... compiled a 78.88 scoring average ... shot a low round 71 at the WAC Championship ... had 44 birdies, second-best on the team ... named the team's Top Dog award ... earned Academic All-WAC.

2009-10 (Freshman): Competed in five tournaments ... had an average score of 80.33 ... shot a low round of 76 at the Anteater Invitational.

Kingsburg HS: Lettered four years in varsity golf and basketball ... three-time team MVP ... led team to three consecutive CIF Valley championships and four consecutive league championships ... MVP of the All-Valley golf team in 2009 ... tied for first by shooting a low-round 71 at the Shoreline Junior Golf Tournament in 2008 ... named to the 2008 Northern California Junior Golf All-Tournament team ... named to the Fresno Bee First-Team All-Valley team in 2007 ... recorded a low score of 72 at the Team Valley Golf Championships in 2008 ... four-time Academic All-League Golf honors ... two-time basketball MVP and won 2007 CIF Valley basketball championship .

Personal: Born on September 9, 1991, in Fresno, Calif. ... parents are Kathy and Randy Yano ... has two older sisters, Erin and Whitney ... Whitney was a member of the women's golf team from 2005-08 before joining the inaugural lacrosse team during the 2008-09 season ... enjoys music, texting, basketball, running, drawing and sleeping ... biggest athletic thrill was winning the Valley Championship in basketball to a team they had not beaten all year ... lists favorite athlete as Tiger Woods because he is "very positive, confident and dedicated" ... most admires her family because they have always been a positive influence and always encourages her to strive to be the best ... chose to attend Fresno State because of the great community support and awesome coaches and student-athletes.

Coach's Comments: Shaylee is our lone senior tasked with leading this team. Her teammates have tremendous confidence in her and named her co captain last year. She is a very goal driven athlete and is determined to make her senior year a special one. Shaylee will give everything she has and she'll be an inspiration for her team. We are looking forward to her finishing her college career on a high note.
