Play Suspended at Peg Barnard Invite

FRESNO, Calif. - Play was suspended in the first round of the Peg Barnard Invitational at the 6,148-yard, par-71 Stanford Golf Course Saturday due to inclement weather. The Bulldogs were tied for eighth at 17-over after almost completing nine holes. Sophomores Shaylee Yano and Krysta Clark, playing as an individual, ended with a one-over, tying them for third on the player leader board. Freshmen Alsion Timlin (+4), playing in her first tournament of the year, and Taylor Wilkinson (+8) completed nine holes, Hillary Billingsley (+8) finished after seven and senior Chelsea Czinski (+4) snuck in six holes. Depending on the conditions, the first round will resume Sunday at 8:00 a.m. with the final round starting thereafter. Follow along at www.golfstat.com.
