    FRESNO, Calif. - In a field full of top ranked talent, the Fresno State women's golf team holds onto ninth place out of 14 teams after two rounds at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic in Kapalua, Maui. The tournament, held at the 6,022-yard, par-72 Kapalua Bay Course, features seven top 50 teams and 15 top 100 players.

    The Bulldogs are paced by senior Louisa Lies who shot a 76 and 75 over the two rounds to sit in a tie for 23rd at 7-over. Lies carded a total of seven birdies, four of which came on the final seven holes of her second round.

    Shaylee Yano and Madchen Ly both posted a 6-over, 78 during the second round to hold onto ties for 33rd and 40th place, respectively.

    After shooting an opening round 82, sophomore Christine Uhalde bounced back by recording a second round 77, 5-over to move into a tie for 45th while Alison Timlin is in 77th place.

    No. 14 Colorado holds a 3-stroke lead over No. 15 Cal with No. 13 Tennessee only one shot behind them. No. 55 Daniela Holmqvist fired a 6-under, 138 to sit in a three shot advantage over Pepperdine's Alina Ching.

    The 'Dogs will compete in the final round of the Anuenue Spring Break Classic Tuesday with a shotgun start scheduled for 11:00 a.m. PST.
