'Dogs Record Three Top-25 Finishes

    Napa, Calif. -- The Bulldogs concluded the co-hosted Silverado Showdown recording three top-25 finishes among a 75-player field.

    Leading the Bulldogs was Madchen Ly. Ly fired five-over par, 221 (70-76-75) to finish in a tie for 16th place.

    "This was a solid finish for Madchen," head coach Emily Milberger said. "Definitely some exciting things ahead as we finish the season."

    Hannah Sodersten trailed Ly by one stroke to finish in a tie for 19th place at six-over par, 222 (73-76-73).

    Guðrún Brá Björgvinsdóttir finished the tournament in a tie for 25th place at seven-over par, 223 (70-77-76).

    "I am proud of these ladies for their effort this week," Milberger said. "We had three players finish in the top 25 and an excellent finish as a team in a really strong field. I am really excited about the rhythm and momentum we have found in the spring and we are definitely looking forward to a strong week of practice before we head into conference."

    The Bulldogs recorded 41-over par, 905 (296-306-303) to finish in 10th place among a 15-team field.

    The Bulldogs conclude the spring season at the Mountain West Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif. on April 24-26th.
