Luethke Tied for Third at Heather Farr Memorial

FRESNO, Calif. - Senior Laura Luethke shot a third round 75 to finish 3-over par at the Heather Farr Memorial Invitational in Broomfield, Colo. Luethke moved up on the leaderboard today to tie for third place entering the third round at even par with two rounds of 72.
Fresno State finished in ninth place out of 20-teams at 44-over with rounds of 303-296-309 - 908 at the Vista and Sunshine courses at the Omni, a par-72 setup checking in at 6,211 yards. The host team, Colorado clinched the team title with 21-over 885. Oklahoma (889) fell four strokes behind in second, followed by Idaho (890) in third. Colorado State (899) took fourth and UC Davis (900) rounded out the top-five.
Kayla Morinaga (214/-2) of Portland State was the individual leader finishing two stokes ahead of Colorado's Dominique Pytlewski (216/Even).
Pia Escandon improved her standing today shooting a third round of 72 to finish 10-over par tied for 28th place. Hali Coppin tied for 37th place with rounds of 77-73-80 -230. Taylor Siebert tied for 49th place at 17-over par. Tiffany Derksen finished in 96th place with 39-over 255.
The Bulldogs will next compete in a dual match against CSU Bakersfield at Sunnyside Country Club on Oct. 20, in Fresno, Calif.
