    Round 1 Results

    LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- The Fresno State women's golf team teed off their last tournament of the fall season on Sunday, Oct. 27 in Las Vegas, Nev. to finish in a tie for 13th place.

    In round one, the Bulldogs fired their lowest round of the season, 12-over par, 300 to sit in a three-way tie with Denver and Furman.

    "We had an exciting start to this event as this was our lowest round of the season this far," head coach Emily Milberger said. "I saw a lot of really good decision making today and it paid off on the scoreboard."

    The UNLV hosted Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown is held at the par-72, 6,230-yard Stallion Mountain Golf Club.

    Hannah Sodersten and Sandra 'Sandy' Livas led the Bulldogs. Sodersten and Livas both carded two-over par, 74 to sit in a tie for 31st place.

    "Hannah and Sandra started with strong rounds today and have some momentum as we head into tomorrow," Milberger said.

    Round two of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown will continue on Monday, Oct. 28 with tee time set for 7:30 a.m.
