Fresno, Calif.-- The Fresno State women's golf team heads to the desert again to compete in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown on Oct. 21-23.

The Bulldogs will play in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown after finishing in first at the Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate last weekend.

"We are excited to get right back into competition," head coach Angie Cates-Moore said. "When you are playing well you want to keep it going and not take a break."

The 'Dogs led the field in birdies and pars last weekend and hope to bring that same level of game to this tournament.

The 'Dogs lineup includes top three Cowgirl Desert Intercollegiate finalists Madchen Ly and Christine Uhalde. Hannah Sodersten, Shaylee Yano, and Krysta Clark also join the Bulldogs as they face top 50 competition including Penn State, UNLV, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Missouri.

The Bulldogs will play three, 18-hole rounds at the par-72, 6, 230-yard Stallion Mountain Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.

"Our win last weekend proved to each person on our team what we are capable of," Cates-Moore said.
