    FRESNO, Calif. -- Facing their final tournament of the fall season, the Fresno State women's golf team will compete in the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown in Las Vegas, Nev. on Oct. 27-29.

    " This is going to be an exciting event for us as the momentum from the last event with two individual top-ten finishes is really pushing our team forward," head coach Emily Milberger said. "We have had some good time at home to work hard and the ladies are ready to wrap of the fall season on a high note."

    The Bulldog lineup includes Hannah Sodersten, Madchen Ly, Alison Timlin, Sandra 'Sandy' Livas, and Krysta Clark.

    The three-day tournament is hosted by UNLV and will be held at the par-72, 6,230-yard Stallion Mountain Golf Club. Competitors will play 18 holes each day with tee times set to begin at 7:30 a.m.

    In addition to UNLV, the 17-team field includes Mountain West contenders New Mexico, Nevada, and San Diego State.
