Lacrosse Honors Seniors Wednesday

Fresno State plays its final home game of the season as two seniors will be honored

Fresno State:

2012 (Senior): Appeared in every game and started 10 games ... scored one goal and recorded an assists for two points ... recorded two shots and one shot on goal ... won 11 ground balls and four draw controls ... had three caused turnovers ... scored her first goal of the season against UC Davis.

2011 (Junior): Played in all 14 games of the season ... started in 12 of the games.

2010 (Sophomore): Played in 13 games for the Bulldogs ... earned IWLCA Academic Honor Roll honors and named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team.

2009 (Freshman): Played in 13 games, starting three as a midfielder in the Bulldogs inaugural year ... started games against Oregon, Johns Hopkins and Howard ... earned Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Academic All-Conference honors.

High School: Competed and lettered in volleyball and basketball ... was team captain in volleyball in 2006 and received the Coaches Award ... was first team all league.

Personal: Born April 15, 1989 ... parents are Maria and Rusty Martinson ... has two brothers, Charlie and Chad, and one sister, Kortney ... hobbies include snowboarding, shopping, traveling, driving, listening to music , hanging out with friends and family ... is a SAAC representative for the lacrosse team ... admires parents most because they work hard for everything they have in life and provide support no matter the situation ... chose to come to Fresno State because it's a great school with a lot of spirit.
