FRESNO, Calif.- Paula Badali had a record-breaking performance as the Fresno State Lacrosse team fell to conference opponent San Diego State in Bulldog Stadium on Saturday afternoon, 18-8. The team started strong, though it was the Aztecs that were able to carry momentum until the end.
"I thought today was one of those games where we needed to execute for the whole 60 minutes," said head coach Jessica Pausewang. "We keep having glimpses of greatness, but it doesn't count unless you finish the game."
In the second ever matchup of the two teams, the `Dogs were outshot 34-19.
Badali had a career high five goals, tying the second single-game school record for most goals.
In seek of its first conference win, Fresno State continues its three game home stand with Oregon on Wednesday at 1 p.m.
