ANN ARBOR, Mich. --- The Fresno State lacrosse team wrapped up its 2014 season with a 19-6 loss to Michigan on Saturday afternoon at Michigan Stadium.

"We had some good moments in the game and came out strong but we couldn't finish," said Fresno State head coach Jessica Pausewang. "I think this season we definitely improved and grew vastly on the field."

Kyleigh Westgarth and Marcy Levatino led Fresno State with two goals each, while Anjelica Fuccillo and Kara Concheck added one apiece.

Westgarth also recorded one assist and three draw controls for the 'Dogs and Fuccillo added two assists to finish with three point on the day.

Senior Lisa Barnaba recorded 11 saves and a team-high five groundballs for the Bulldogs in her last collegiate game in cage.

"I'm extremely proud of their accomplishments," added Pausewang on Barnaba, Concheck and Ashley Phillips. "It's been an honor to have coached these three seniors for three years and to see them grow so much as not on lacrosse players but young women. I'm excited for what's to come for this program and we are going to work hard in our off season."

Fresno State ended its year with a 2-13 overall record and 1-8 MPSF mark.
