Lacrosse Begins Practice Thursday

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State lacrosse team holds its first practice of the spring today, as the Bulldogs begin preparations for the 2012 season and their first year under new head coach Jessica Pausewang.
The Bulldogs have 24 days until preseason play begins on Feb. 5 at Stanford. Fresno State hosts the 3rd annual exhibition game versus the Fresno Men's Club Team on Feb. 11 which they have won the past two years.
The 'Dogs have 16 returners from the 2011 season and two newcomers under the direction of a new head coach and new assistant.
Briana Hetherington and Natalie Harrington are both leading the way for the returners as the top goals and assists leaders from last season. Assistant coach Carlee Buck has been with the team for the past three seasons and will help the new staff and student-athletes become more familiar with the program.
Fresno State has many goals they hope to accomplish this 2012 season and are eager to get started.
