FRESNO, Calif. -The Fresno State women's lacrosse team will kick off its 2013 season on Sunday as they compete against Presbyterian University at 1 p.m. in Los Angeles, Calif.
"I'm excited to play in Los Angeles, I think it's another up and coming spot in California," said head coach Jessica Pausewang. "I know the team has been working really hard, I think that it's going to be a great point to start the season at. I think they are more than capable of getting a win, and I'm excited to see them put it all together."
This is the third time the two teams have met in the last five years. After only falling three goals short in 2011, the `Dogs look to come out strong and put the ball in the back of the net early in the game.
After playing on Sunday, the Bulldogs will have a two week break before heading down to San Diego to take on La Salle on March 5, at 4 p.m.
