FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's lacrosse team returns to Bulldog Stadium Friday afternoon, hosting Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponent Denver at 3 p.m. in their second to last home game of the season.
The Bulldogs (2-8, 0-4) are looking for their first MPSF victory, while the Pioneers (10-1, 4-0) come into the game leading the conference and have a 10 game winning streak.
Fresno State is still battling for the final playoff spot with Saint Mary's, who is 0-3 in conference play and the Gaels come to Bulldog Stadium on senior day Wednesday, April 18 at 3 p.m. Wednesday's game will be the final home game of the season for the Bulldogs.
Friday's game will be the first conference game of the season at home. Fresno State has lost the past two road conference games at Oregon and Tuesday at Cal.
Within the conference, the Bulldogs rank third in turnovers per game, taking care of the ball and only recording 14.22 turnovers per game. Fresno State also ranks fourth in attendance.
