FRESNO, Calif.- After losing three games at home the Fresno State Lacrosse team looks to finish its season strong as they hit the road for two conferences games this week. The Bulldogs conclude its 2013 season with Mountain Pacific Sports Federation opponents St. Mary's on Wednesday at 4 p.m., and USC on Saturday at 3 p.m.
In search of their first conference win, the Bulldogs (2-11) need to play two full halves as a team to secure a victory.
"We have been struggling to be a 60 minute team," said head coach Jessica Pausewang. "We have moments of brilliance, we just need to put together a whole game and play to our full potential and control the tempo of the game."
After a season-high four-goal game against UC Davis last week, Kara Concheck leads the 'Dogs with 23 points. Concheck and Paula Badali have a team-high, 17 goals each. Marcy Levatino has 16 goals in 2013, and leads Fresno State with 25 draw controls. Freshman Anjelica Fuccillo currently has 15 goals and 20 points, while senior Natalie Harrington has 13 goals and a team-high eight assists. The fab five have combined for 78 goals and 103 points this season.
Senior goalkeeper Katie Wilbur has a total of 97 saves, which is 13 more than her 2012 season total.
