FRESNO, Calif. --- The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation announced that senior Kara Concheck was named to the 2014 All-MPSF second-team on Wednesday afternoon in a vote that was conducted by the conference coaches. This is Concheck's first all-conference honor, and third for the lacrosse team as a program.

With a standout senior season, Concheck led Fresno State across the board in 2014 in route to becoming the Bulldogs all-time leading scorer with 73 career goals and 85 points. The Columbus, Ohio native posted a team-high 29 goals and 35 points in her final year which set a new Fresno State single-season record.

A leading attacker for the 'Dogs, Concheck recorded six hat tricks this season, including four-straight in conference play against USC, St. Mary's, Cal and UC Davis. Concheck also posted 66 shots, 53 on goal, 11 groundballs, six draw controls and three caused turnovers this year.

Concheck recorded a career-high six points against St. Mary's on April 10, leading the 'Dogs to their first win over Gaels in Fresno States last home finale. Her six points off of four goals and two assists ranks second in school history.

Concheck was one of 32 student-athletes from around the MPSF to be named to the two all-conference squads. Stanford midfielder, Hannah Farr was named 2014 MPSF Player of the Year. Freshman goalkeeper Paige Soenksen from Colorado was named MPSF Rookie of the Year, and Denver's Head Coach Liza Kelly was named MPSF Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season.
