    FRESNO, Calif. - First year head coach Jessica Pausewang ended the best season in school history Sunday afternoon with an end of the year banquet to honor the team.

    The Bulldogs, parents and staff joined the celebration which capped off a three-win season, the first wins in program history since 2009.

    Pausewang kicked off the event with a highlight video, followed by a senior presentation and ended with team awards.

    Seniors Kasandra Martinson and Callie Seidman spoke about their time spent at Fresno State and team captains Natalie Harrington, Sara Weber and Seidman shared their thoughts on the season.

    "It was a great season and this banquet was a wonderful time to look back at all the memories," Pausewang said. "We have a lot to build on and we thank our seniors for helping get everything started."

    Callie Seidman was named Bulldog Spirit, while Sophie Walker was named Most Improved Player. Freshman Marcy Levatino was named Hardest Worker and Sarah Weeks earned the Sportsmanship Award.

    The Attacker of the Year went to Briana Hetherington, Midfielder of the Year was Taylor Fiehler, Defender of the Year was Ashley Phillips and Player of the Year went to Natalie Harrington.
