FRESNO, Calif. - After two weeks of voting the fans have spoken! The 2000-2009 Soccer All-Decade team results are in!

A total of 216 fans logged on to www.gobulldogs.com and voted for their top goalkeeper, four defenders, four midfielders and two forwards that played at least two years in the last decade.

Jeannette Paine donned the Bulldog jersey from 2003-06. She was named Academic All-WAC several years. Paine recorded six shutouts in her career at Fresno State, which places her fifth in Bulldog history. She finished her career with 153 saves and played a total of 3,547:27 minutes.

Andrea Alires was named second-team All-WAC defender during her final season on the soccer the field. The four-year defender played with the Bulldogs from 2004-07. She played a school record 5,881 minutes over her career. Alires was named WAC Player of the Week in October of 2007 and named to the 2007 WAC All-Tournament team. She had 33 shots, three goals and nine assists over her career.

 

 

Rochelle Jagedo is the only player in Fresno State history to be named WAC Defensive Player of the Year twice. She was named an All-WAC player. She played on the back line from 2003-06. Jagdeo earned two WAC All-Tournament honors. She helped lead the Bulldogs to their second NCAA appearance in 2005. Over the course of two seasons, Jagdeo helped the Bulldogs record 22 shutouts.

Selena Gill earned All-WAC honors twice as a defender. She played with the Bulldogs from 2005-08. Gill helped the `Dogs make NCAA appearances during her freshman and senior seasons. She was named captain her senior season and scored her first goal against Idaho on Oct 25, 2008.

Kendall VanDine is currently a sophomore on the Bulldog soccer team. As a freshman she helped the Bulldogs make their third NCAA appearance. VanDine is a two-time All-WAC player anchoring the left side of the back line. In her two years as a Bulldog, she has helped record 16 shutouts.

Kortney Lewis wore Bulldog red from 2002-05 and was a two-time Academic All-WAC selection, two-time All-WAC honoree and twice made the WAC All-Tournament team. During her final season, Lewis led the Bulldogs to their second ever NCAA appearance. Lewis rewrote the record books as she is second in Bulldog history in career points (79) and career goals (30). She is fourth in Fresno State history in all-time assists with 19. In 2005, she was named WAC Tournament MVP.

Ali Sill played in the midfield for Fresno State from 2005-08. She is the all-time assist leader for the Bulldogs with 23 during her career. Sill is a four-time All-WAC selection and was named WAC Tournament MVP in 2008. She aided in the Bulldogs making two NCAA Tournament appearances.

Koleen Anderson was an Academic All-WAC honoree in 2002. She played for Fresno State from 2001-05. Anderson is ninth in Bulldog history in career assists with nine. She is also ninth in Fresno State history in shots with 100.

Antonea Lugo played for the Bulldogs from 2003-06 and was an All-WAC selection in 2006. She also was a two-time WAC All-Tournament honoree and twice won Academic All-WAC honors. Lugo is tied for ninth in Fresno State history in career assists with nine. In 2006, Lugo led the team in goals with six and in 2005 she led the Dogs in assists with five.

Nicole Gutierrez was a three-time All-WAC forward for the Bulldogs from 2005-08. She and the Bulldogs made two NCAA appearances during her career. Gutierrez scored 24 goals in her career and is fifth in Fresno State history. She is one of only four Bulldogs to score a hat Trick. She scored the hat trick against UTEP on Sept. 28, 2007.

Courtney Sobrero recorded two hat tricks in her career as a Bulldog against New Mexico and Nevada in 2004. She was named an All-WAC selection three times. Sobrero scored 24 goals and 60 points in her four year career and is fourth in both in Fresno State history. Sobrero recorded 248 career shots, which is the second most in Bulldog history.
