DeVault Named Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week

    Fresno State sophomore soccer goalkeeper Katie DeVault has been named the Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week.

    DeVault had a record setting performance against No. 4/5 UCLA and CSU Northridge over the weekend. In both games, DeVault had 12 saves which tied the school record for saves in a single game. She held the nationally ranked Bruins scoreless for the first 38 minutes of the first half. DeVault leads the Mountain West in saves with 35 and saves per game with 8.5. The Bulldogs have played four overtime periods so far this season and DeVault has held opponents scoreless in overtime.
