Nearly five years after her storied softball career under head coach Margie Wright, Jamie Southern continues to be honored in the softball world. On Nov. 25, Southern was one of 30 current/former student-athletes to be named to the ESPN Rise All-Decade Softball Team.

Head Fresno State softball coach Margie Wright signed two student-athletes to National Letters of Intent on Monday. Chavonnia "Vonnie" Martin and Brooke Ortiz will attend Fresno State and play for Wright beginning in the 2010-11 season.
