2015 (SOPHOMORE): As predicted in the Preseason All-Conference poll, Willis was a repeated All-MW second-team pick at the conclusion of the 2015 season ... started all but one game in left field ... she guided the `Dogs to their first ever MW title after posting a multi-hit game in all three conference slates against UNLV where Fresno State secured the championship and automatic bid to postseason on May 8 in Las Vegas, Nev. ... batting cleanup for the Bulldogs, Willis was one of five Bulldogs that hit above .350 on the season, ending the year with a third-best batting average of .364 while serving as one of the national leaders in triples, earning a third place ranking for her nine triples this season, only two shy of a three-way tie for first place ... she enjoyed multiple weekly accolades including a two-time MW Player of the Week (Feb. 24, May 11), Sysco Student-Athlete of the Week (Feb. 23, May 11) and College Sports Madness named the sophomore outfielder the MW Madness Player of the Week on March 17 after helping the `Dogs to a weekend record of 4-1 at the conclusion of the Fresno State Classic ... took part in adding to the Fresno State softball record book as she slammed one of the three back-to-back-to-back home runs coming against Stanford at the Mary Nutter Classic, helping the `Dogs to a 13-8 victory over the Cardinal ... led the team in triples (9), home runs (8), RBI (55), total bases (108), slugging percentage (.667) and hit by pitch (8), with a second-best on base percentage (.472) ... during the 24-game conference slate she led the league with nine triples and ranked top 10 in runs scored (43), total bases (108), slugging percentage (.667), RBI (55) and hit by pitch (8) ... capped the season with a team-high of 18 multiple RBI games, scoring two runs in 11 games, three runs in five games and four runs in two matchups ... helped power the `Dogs past Pacific in the only non-conference game coming during the regular season, highlighted by a three-run home run and additional RBI during the 5-0 matchup in Fresno State's favor ... the leftfielder claims a team season game-high of two triples coming against Rutgers on Feb. 27 and ties with three walks facing UNLV during the regular season ... her first career home run came against Santa Clara on Feb. 14 while she paced the team with eight on the season.
2014 (FRESHMAN): The team's top newcomer led the squad in on-base percentage (.432), and ranked second in stolen bases (9) and walks (24), third in batting (.307), fourth in triples (2) and fifth in multi-hit games (8) ... altogether, she played 49 of the team's 52 contests on the year, and batted in the fifth-ninth slots ... among her 42 starts, she reached base in 34 of those contests ... had game-winning RBI vs. UC Santa Barbara (eighth-inning grounder) and Colorado State (fourth-inning single) ... in her 22 games of conference action, she hit .346 and stood third on squad in on-base percentage (.433) ... had five- and four-game hit streaks in MW play, and another four-game run in February. ... owned team's fourth-longest reached base streak on year - a 12-game opening-month stretch that included pinch-hits the last two at-bats ... also owned team's best pinch-hit batting average on season (.500, 3-for-6), including a triple vs. CS Fullerton ... defensively, logged .932 fielding mark with 41 putouts (and three errors and no assists).
High School: The four-time first-team all-league selection was also the MVP for her Clayton Valley Charter High School team ...the Silver Slugger award recipient sported a season best batting mark of .636 ... a four-time letterwinner, she helped her squad to a DVA1 title and NCS Division II runner-up finish, and 22-3 mark in 2013.
