2014 (SENIOR): Started all 52 games of the season at third base and batted in the third-sixth spots ... ranked first on the team, second in the MW and 37th nationally in walks (37) with total that ranked fourth in school history ... at season's end, stood second on squad in slugging (.453), on-base percentage (.431) and homers (7), third in RBI (30), fourth in total bases (63) and fifth in runs (23) and multi-hit games (8) ... her 16 career homers tied for 11th-most in school history ... hit two-run game-winning homer in sixth inning in 2-0 win vs. Southern Utah and grand slam in 24-4 victory vs. Boise State (and her second career-wise) ... also homered vs. No. 2 Tennessee, New Mexico, Pacific, San Diego State and St. Mary's ... her other game-winning RBI came vs. UNLV on a fourth-inning grounder ... her eight multi-hit games on the year came vs. No. 2 Tennessee (2-for-4, 2 RBI), No. 8 Oregon (3-for-4, BB), LIU Brooklyn (2-for-3, BB), Pacific (2-for-4, 3 RBI), Nevada (3-for-3, HR), New Mexico (2-for-3, BB), San Diego State (2-for-2, BB), San Jose State (2-for-2, BB), St. Mary's (2-for-4) ... had a 10-game reached base streak to start the season in the Kajikawa Classic and Fresno State Kick-off ... defensively, logged a .922 fielding mark with 39 putouts and 102 assists ... helped team turn 25 double plays on the year - 12th nationally and first in the MW.
2014 SEASON HIGHS
2013 (JUNIOR): Named 2013 to the All-Mountain West Team ... earned Academic All-Mountain West honors ... selected as the MW Player of the Week twice ... appeared in 53 games, starting 13 as designated player and 36 at third base ... hit .320 on the season with 47 hits, including five doubles and two home runs ... topped team in on-base percentage (.386), and ranked second in RBI (26) and walks (17), third in hitting (.320), doubles (5), fourth in slugging (.395) and fifth in total bases (58) ... recorded 11 multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games ... opened the 2013 season with her first career grand slam against UTEP for a season-high 4 RBI ... had a 14-game hitting streak from April 10 to May 11, which was the team's longest of the season (and tied for eighth-best all-time by a Bulldog) ... led team in MW play in batting (.436), hits (24), slugging (.491) and on-base percentage (.475) ... recorded a season-best three hits twice after going 3-for-4 against Cal Poly and San Diego State ... recorded two walks in a game three times ... helped the Bulldog infield turn 19 double plays ... totaled 37 putouts and 69 assists.
2013 SEASON HIGHS
2012 (SOPHOMORE): Named to the 2012 All-WAC Second Team ... selected to the WAC All-Tournament team after hitting three home runs in five games at the tournament ... batted .287 on the year with 20 runs scored and 19 driven in ... her .548 slugging percentage ranked second on the team as did her nine doubles ... hit seven home runs, which was the third-most on the team ... led the team with her .327 batting average in WAC games and her .333 batting average in road and neutral site games ... posted nine multi-hit games on the year, including the only four-hit game by a Bulldog in 2012 when she went 4-for-4 in the second game of a doubleheader at Nevada, March 24 ... she finished a triple shy of hitting for the cycle in that game where she drove in two runs and scored once ... had five multi-RBI games, including two games with three RBI ... hit an eighth-inning solo home run against San Jose State in the WAC Tournament to win the game and fight off elimination for the Bulldogs at the tournament.
2012 SEASON HIGHS
2011 (FRESHMAN): Played in six games, drawing one start as the designated player against Sacramento State in the second game of a doubleheader on opening day ... was 1-for-3 in her one start.
2011 SEASON HIGHS
HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year varsity letterwinner as a first and third baseman ... 2010 first-team all-state and team captain ... named a four-time NFCA All-American scholar-athlete, three-time first-team all-district honoree, three-time PSHS Offensive MVP, a Dallas Morning News all-area second-team honoree, a NFCA all-region second-team honoree ... selected by VYPE Magazine as one of the Top 20 Texas High School softball/baseball players ... in 2009, she named a TGCA all-state second-team honoree ... in 2008, she broke the single-season home run record in her sophomore year with seven home runs and batted .393 with 40 RBI's to help lead PSHS to a 29-6 record.
PERSONAL: Parents are Craig and Janice Martin ... older brother is C.J. ... hobbies include drawing and music ... biggest athletic thrill was her high school's run for a state title during her senior year ... most admires her parents for their hard work and dedication to their family and work ... chose to attend Fresno State because of the great opportunity to learn the skills to succeed, the community is very similar to her hometown and the weather.
