Went 3-0 in the circle with a 2.15 ERA ... pitched two shutouts, one each vs. St. Peter's and Rhode Island ... earned her biggest career win vs. top 25 Hawai'i in the WAC Tournament on April 26 ... in that game at Hawai'i, she also drove in two runs to tie the game which led to the Bulldogs victory ... also had two hits, an RBI and a double vs. Rhode Island.

Bullard High School: Was a four-year letterwinner in softball ... was all-league from 05-07 ... was all-valley in 2007 ... helped the Knights to league championships in `05, `06 and '07 ... was the CMAC Pitcher of the Year in 2007 ... played in the City/County All-Star game in '07 ... named the 2007 Jenny Eller Award winner.

Personal: Born July 4, 1989 ... parents are Kanda and Ron Petersen ... has a younger sister, Morgan ... most admires her mother and says she is the strongest woman she knows ... lists one of her biggest athletic thrills as hitting a double in the top of the seventh to put her team ahead in the semifinals of the valley championships ... came to Fresno State for its great softball program and strong kinesiology program.
